- Never paste
sk_testorsk_livesecret keys into normal text fields - Never paste webhook signing secrets into normal database fields
- Always store secret keys in Base44 Environment Variables under secure secrets
- If a secret key was ever pasted somewhere insecure, regenerate it immediately in Stripe
- Publishable keys (
pk_test,pk_live) are safe to store here
