Move Library

Move Before the Pass
Movement

Don't wait for the ball — move to create the angle before your teammate passes.

  • Anticipate where the ball will go
  • Create an angle for the passer
  • Time your run to stay onside
One-Two Combination
Combination

Pass and move — the simplest and most effective combination in football.

  • Pass firmly to your teammate
  • Sprint immediately to receive back
  • Receive on the move, not stationary
Third-Man Run
Teamwork

Use a teammate to move the ball, then arrive late to receive in space.

  • Pass to a teammate who sets another
  • Time your run to arrive late
  • Receive in space behind the line

How to Win

1
Move First

Create the angle before the ball arrives.

2
Combine Quickly

One and two-touch passing to break lines.

3
Support Always

Never stand still — always offer an option.

Golden Rule

Great teams move together. If you are not on the ball, you are moving to help someone who is.
