- 1Start fast and set the tone
- 2Communicate with teammates
- 3Keep the ball when ahead
- 4Stay calm under pressure
- 5Celebrate and support as a team
Move Library
First two minutes set the tone.
- High energy press and support.
- Simple passes, keep it moving.
- Shoot or cross when it's on.
Teams that communicate win more games.
- Call names and give information ("time", "turn", "man on").
- Encourage teammates after mistakes.
- Organise quickly on restarts.
Lose it? Win it back. Win it? Attack.
- React immediately after transitions.
- Recover into shape if we can't win it instantly.
- Look forward quickly when we regain.
In key moments: be calm and choose.
- Head up: pass, cross, or finish?
- Pick the high-percentage option.
- Reset quickly and go again.
